One day, among a surging crowd, a blind beggar, sitting beside the road inquired of someone what all the commotion was about. When he heard that it was Jesus, he began shouting out to the Lord to have mercy on him. Many told him to be quiet but he shouted out all the more. Suddenly Jesus stopped and called for him. The man jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. Jesus asked him “What do you want me to do for you?” The man replied, “I want to see.” Jesus replied, “Go. Your faith has healed you.” (See Mark 10:46-52).
It doesn’t matter if there are ten thousand, ten million or just you calling upon the Lord today, nor does it matter what He may be saying or giving to anyone else, as You stand among the crowd, realize you are just as invited and just as loved as anyone else. He is as attuned to your voice as He is to the most “spiritual” person on earth. Though we are all but specks of existence, in Christ, the Lord of all creation favors each one of us individually and is fully invested in each of our well-being. And as you call out to Him, He is calling for you.
