A Dozen “Drop the Mic” Statements from the Bible

1. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
2. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).
3. “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43).
4. “If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).
5. “Whether [Jesus] be a sinner or not, I know not. One thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25).
6. “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her” (John 8:7).
7. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
8. “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who taunts the armies of the living God?” (1 Samuel 17:26).
9. ‘Peace, be still!’ (Mark 4:39).
10. “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up” (Daniel 3:17-18).
11. “It is finished!” (John 19:30).
12. “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here: He has risen!” (Luke 24:5).
