An imaginative meditation of Psalm 84:1-2.
“How lovely are Thy dwelling places, O LORD of hosts!”
I imagine rich colors, textures that surprise the fingertips, shapes that appear other‑worldly and fragrances so ambrosial they make the soul lean forward. A beauty that doesn’t just meet the senses but awakens them.
“My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD.”
He is the je ne sais quoi of life – the satisfying something you can’t quite name but can’t live without.
“My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.”
He is that song that never grows old, the melody that always delights, the tune your spirit can never forget.
He is the place my soul knows by heart. There is no one and nothing like Him, and to know Him – even a little – is to adore Him.
Something to take just a moment to consider today.
