One of the greatest “shockers” in history occurred when the risen Jesus Christ, surrounded by unapproachable light and with a voice that some thought was thunder, appeared to the most feared and violent enemy of Christians. Jesus called him by name and he became Christ’s greatest promoter. The apostle Paul was the Pharisee of all Pharisees who went from arresting, imprisoning and approving of the death of Christians to writing to them with tears of affection and love. He eventually gave his life defending the faith he had once tried to exterminate.
This is just a simple reminder: No matter who they are, where they are or what they are, no one is beyond the transforming touch of the risen Christ. And that includes you.
Something to take just a moment to consider today.
