“Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4) In the first place, there is no desire we can have that is better than the delightfulness of the Lord Himself. So, delighting ourselves in the Lord is our greatest blessing. But the bonus blessing of this promise is the Lord is not confined to giving us the desires of our hearts as we imagine them to be but also as He knows them to be.
