One of the special blessings of walking with the Lord is discovering, again and again, that He equips us for the very place we’re standing. Not tomorrow’s imagined pressures. Not yesterday’s regrets. Today. It’s the experience of His promise: “As your days, so shall your strength be” (Deuteronomy 33:25). God gives strength in the measure the day requires – not in advance but right on time.
He has already placed in you what today will require. Whatever your Monday holds. The known tasks. The unexpected turns. The conversations you didn’t plan to have. His measured but abundant grace is tailored to the day in front of you, and He shares every episode and event of it with you. Your outcomes may not unfold or conclude according to your expectations or desires, but nothing will happen today that can derail His glorious plans and purposes for you – nor any situation He cannot use to make your relationship with Him even more precious.
So move into this day with confidence. You are not alone, and you are not unprepared. His Grace is already waiting for you in the next thing.
