Why I Don’t Go To Church
People who don’t attend church regularly have many varied reasons for choosing not to do so. So let me take just a moment to share with you why I don’t go to church.
I don’t go to church to impress others with my faith, I go to have it maintained and treated.
I don’t go to church to judge the lack of faith of others, I go to share some of mine with them.
I don’t go to church to prove to God how much I love Him, I go to understand how much He loves me.
I don’t go to church so God will bless me, I go because He has blessed me.
I don’t go to church to pay God what I owe Him, I go to remember that He is the provider of all I have.
I don’t go to church to find out how to be a better person, I go to understand how He is making me more like Himself.
I don’t go to church to learn how to live *for* Christ, I go to learn how to live *in* Christ.
I don’t go to church because I am a good person, I go because He accepts me with all my flaws.
If any of these reasons are why you don’t go to church, you’ll feel right at home at Valley Brook.
