A Fresh Experience of Today

April 23, 2015 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

Let us not consider prayer, Bible reading, fellowship or other spiritual activities as ends in themselves or as tasks performed and completed.  Instead, let us regard them as doors that open to a realm of greater awareness of the Lord Himself, in which we walk with anticipation of what He may reveal to us throughout the entire day. This perspective properly orients us to the truth as Jesus expressed it, “My Father is always at His work…” (John 5:17) and therefore He can speak to us or work through us at any time.
