Do you truly value your need for others? I do not mean just accepting it as a fact. Do you value it as much as you value your ability to help others? Your neediness is as much a part of God’s design for His body as is your giftedness, for your neediness provides the opportunity for others to use their gifts. To despise our neediness is to despise the gifts of others. As the Scripture instructs us, “We are members of one another.” So do not merely accept your neediness, be grateful for it. For it too is part of God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
