Just a moment with Pastor Dan

May 8, 2015 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

People often ask me, “How do I grow in my faith and in my spiritual understanding?”  So I wanted to take just a moment to give a brief response.  You don’t have to be a scholar.  You don’t even have to be “smart.”  It is neither philosophical nor theoretical.  It is not complicated.  There is no scientific formula.  No magic words.  A growing, satisfying walk with Christ is, more than anything else, relational.  It’s personal.  It’s “texting” Him throughout the day.  Sitting up with Him at night.  Touching base with Him in the morning.  In the words of the apostle Paul it means knowing whom we have believed (2 Timothy 1:12) – not just what we believe.  So why not take just a moment to prayerfully consider how to personalize your relationship with Him today?
