The Lord has provided for us a salvation that is anchored in “an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part” (2 Samuel 23:5). That means no corners were cut, no items have been overlooked, no issues remain unresolved. Each one of us who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ is now fully prepared for our face-to-face encounter with Him. No need to wonder if you have everything. No need to remember what to say. No need to worry about any detail that will affect your processing as a citizen of heaven. All has been arranged and secured. This assurance is ours not because we have lived a worthy life, but because He has made us completely worthy by supremely handling for us every item on the checklist of the everlasting covenant.
