If it seems that the world is falling apart consider that according to the Scriptures, it is only God’s mercy that continues to hold it together. It is His love that inspires us to acts of kindness towards others. It is His righteousness that motivates us to do the right thing. It is His mercy that has prevented us from totally destroying each other.
So, given that biblical truth, the question is not why God doesn’t do something about world conditions, but rather, what condition would the world be in without God?
