Question: What is the scientific answer to how life began on earth?
Google: The origin of life on Earth is still a mystery, and there is no scientific consensus on how it began.
BBC Scientific Journal: Open your eyes anywhere on Earth and there is life: whether it’s a pigeon in the park or the invisible microorganisms coating every surface. But when the planet was born 4.5 billion years ago, it was sterile. How did the first life emerge? The short answer is we don’t know. If we did, we could reproduce it. Scientists could put the right chemicals in a sealed container under the correct conditions and when they opened it, they’d find living organisms. Nobody has ever done this.
The Apostle Paul: “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything. Rather, He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. … For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:22-28).
I am no scientist, but this is a fact: Even if macroevolution is accepted as a given, the mystery of how life began remains unsolved by science, while the biblical short answer is quite simple: Life comes exclusively from God.
Something to take just a moment to consider today.
