“In [Christ] are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). This does not refer to worldly wisdom and knowledge; you won’t suddenly become a rocket scientist or fluent in seven languages. Rather, it means through our relationship with Christ and by the ministry of the Holy Spirit, we receive a heavenly wisdom that provides perspective on earthly matters that goes beyond what we see with our eyes or experience in our circumstances. The effects of embracing this perspective are surpassing peace, the joy of the Lord, the love of God and greater self-awareness, just to name a few. In short it means being Spirit-minded, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led.
