In the same way as music, fragrances can create a pleasing sensory experience that affects our mood and elevates our spiritual awareness. Fragrances have historically played a significant role in worship. Moses was instructed to make an altar for offering incense, symbolizing prayers rising to heaven. Frankincense and myrrh were presented to Jesus. And we are a fragrance of Christ to God (2 Corinthians 2:15). You are an aromatic delight to Him! He loves having you in His presence and being present in you at all times—even when you feel inadequate or fall short. So never hesitate to draw near to Him. Remember, your aroma does not emanate from your performance but from Christ in you.
