In our walk with the Lord, we often find ourselves returning to the same scriptures, prayers, and practices. Yet, it is in these familiar places that the Lord often surprises us with relevant reminders, reassuring guidance, timely instruction and comforting reassurance.
Just as the morning dew renews the earth, the Lord faithfully renews our spirit, even on the most well-trodden paths and in our most frequently visited routines. In doing so, He continually reminds us that the secret of the abundant life in Christ is the living Christ Himself, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
