Ok. So, you’ve heard a gazillion times, “God loves you!” But I invite you to take a moment with me to consider how He loves you.
God’s love for you isn’t more or less than His love for anyone else. Nope, it’s absolutely perfect and tailored just for you! God knows our hearts, our situations, and our needs intimately. His love meets us exactly where we are, in our unique conditions. No two people are alike, or in the same place in life. So, He tailors His love for us like a custom-made suit, perfectly fitting, comfortable, and, as they say, “fire!”
In a world where we often compare ourselves to others, it’s a liberating blessing to know that God’s love is complete and abundant for each of us. It’s not like a pie that gets sliced up; it’s more like a never-ending buffet—everyone gets their fill, and there’s always more to go around.
The Bible calls this God-given love “perfect love” (1 John 4:18). There is no other love like it. Human love, as great as it can be, cannot compare with it. And it kicks fear to the curb. When we truly grasp that we are loved uniquely, precisely and without condition, fear doesn’t stand a chance.
So, as you launch your weekend, feast on this divine love, wear His care tailored just for you, and let His incomparable love fill you with His joy and peace.
