Just a Moment with Pastor Dan Baty

March 14, 2025 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

A stunning sunset. A clear, moonlit night. A sunrise over the ocean. The gentle flowing of a brook. A breaching whale. A soaring eagle. Snow-capped mountains. These are just a few of the icons of the beauty of nature.

As we stand in awe of the magnificence of Creation, let us be reminded that God cares for us with that very same creativity. His craftsmanship is at work in every detail of our lives. For in Him, we live and move and exist, and He holds all creation together (Acts 17:28; Colossians 1:17). His impeccable timing, the intricate sequencing of events, the variance in intensity of His interactions with us, and the diverse means through which He provides for our general well-being are always in operation. He is not merely aware of us by default because of His omniscience; rather, He is deliberately and intimately mindful, with hands-on involvement in every facet of our existence.

In these days when life feels shrouded in uncertainty and the ground beneath us seems unstable, we can find solace by remembering the Creator is also our Creator, and He is still creating. We can place our faith in His everlasting arms that uphold us and His all-wise, always loving, and unceasing vigilance over our life events.

Something to take just a moment to consider and rejoice in today.
