I remember glancing at an aerosol can and noticing the warning: “Contents Under Pressure.” I chuckled to myself, thinking, I can relate to that. My heart, my mind, my spirit can easily become weighed down by concerns, expectations, and the endless demands of life.
Then, I had a realization. If I removed just one letter—dropped the “S”—everything changed: “Content Under Pressure.”
What a dramatic shift! When I let go of Self-reliance, when I stop trying to carry it all on my own, I discover something extraordinary. Trusting in the One who invites me to lay my burdens at His feet, I find peace. The pressure may remain, but my soul is anchored. I am content, even under pressure, because He sustains me.
