“I will give them a heart to know Me…” (Jeremiah 24:7).
The Lord does not want us to operate or interact with Him out of obligation, compulsion or fear of blessings being withheld, but out of a genuine desire and anticipation of rich fellowship with Him. He wants us to have a heart not just to do the right thing, but to know Him. Not just looking to Him for what He can do for us, but for who He is to us. Is this not what we all desire in our relationships?
Something to take just a moment to consider today.
