I used to possess the multi-layered idea that Jesus not only teaches us how to live the best possible life, He is the best possible life. That earth’s most magnificent wonders and my greatest pleasures are but samples of His person. Therefore, knowing Him and getting to know Him better each day is what our souls long for most.
I used to possess that idea. But no longer. After all these years, and through all the ups and downs of life, I realize it possesses me.
