As we watch in awe the tremendous displays of power, speed and skill of the world’s best athletes, let us also remember those abilities are endowments from our Creator. For “it is He that has made us… and in Him we live and move” (Psalm 100:3; Acts 17:28). Like the stars in the heavens, these superbly tuned bodies are reflections of His unfathomable greatness.
Let us therefore applaud the athletes who have honed their gifts through countless hours of training, and let our hearts worship the One who is the Source of those astonishing abilities.
