One of the ways I prayerfully meditate on the Scriptures is by employing the words “Amen,” “Yes,” Please,” and “Thank You” to talk it over with the Lord. For example…
“I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way
be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage
so that now, as always, Christ will be exalted in my body,
whether by life or death” (Philippians 1:20).
Amen! I agree this is as it should be, Lord!
Yes! I desire this to be true of me also.
Please! By Your Spirit’s help, not by my power.
Thank You! For all You have done to bring me to
this place of desire.
