If “being successful” is your aim, remember it is impossible to fail if your goal is to leave everyone better than you found them. It doesn’t matter whether they all receive it. It doesn’t matter whether they all respond to it. It doesn’t matter whether they reciprocate it. “Success” is the person you become in the process. The love we give to others results in inner wealth to us that cannot be measured by material metrics. In the end, what will matter by heaven’s accounting is not what we have acquired but what we have given. No one ever died poor who was rich within.
