Just a Moment with Pastor Dan Baty

May 29, 2020 By Dan Baty 1 Comment

The Lord wants to be much more personal with each of us than we presently realize.  For Him to make the choice not to live near us, as a next-door neighbor, or even with us as a roommate, but inside of us – and forever, communicates a desire for intimacy that is far beyond human understanding.  He isn’t just concerned about what’s going on “in the world,” He is concerned about what is going on in you!  It means He wants to be perpetually synchronized with us emotionally, spiritually, and physically.  It means He doesn’t just want to understand our situations, He wants to experience them with us.  It means He doesn’t only want to be available when we call but there to prompt the call.  The reason He is in each of us personally is because He wants to personalize each of our relationship with Himself.  The reality of His presence within us is the most wonderful thing we can ponder.

It is certainly worth taking just a moment to consider today.

Pastor, thank you. This is the sweet relationship I have with Him. There are times, we as people, do not care to be around anyone else. But God loves us so much, that he is in us, leading us, guiding us, – He is for us, he is for us -and everything else you said. What a blessed assurance to know that He is mine and I am His.

    Blessings,
    Flemena
