“Here I am, Lord, with my noisy insides, zigzagging, chattering, bustling notions and a carousel of emotions. Here I am. And You can choose to engage me in the clamor, calm the tumult or say to my spirit ‘Come away to a lonely place and rest a while.’ I give You the choice, but here I am.”
