“For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him” (John 3:17). I insert my own name into that statement and my heart says, “Thank You, Lord, for not coming to earth to judge me, Dan! And You had every right to do so! There wasn’t a single thing I could have said to fight back. I couldn’t even use the old tried and true response, ‘Well, look at you! Who are you to judge me? You aren’t perfect yourself!‘ Because You actually were perfect! But You used Your perfection to save me. You used it to purchase my redemption and a supernatural, brand-new and eternal relationship with God. And all I can say is ‘Wow!’ and ‘Thank You!'”
