Our faith-in-Him journey with the Lord, is a whole-life adventure, not just a Sunday morning excursion, or an early morning appointment. Wherever and whenever our hearts respond to His never-ceasing attention, affection, and work in us and through us, that place becomes a sanctuary as sacred as any other on earth. For the Lord is not contained or confined by buildings or borders. His glory fills heaven and earth. He spreads through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place. He is present in every interaction, every situation, every mood, every thought, every shopping trip and every family activity. He sits in the sports arenas in the deafening noise of thousands, and He sits in every hospital room. He is as present in the noise of rush hour traffic as He is beside the peaceful, still waters. Because He is our ever-present helper, teacher and guide, today’s expedition, even though routine is not “the same.”
