You aren’t always going to get it. You aren’t always going to see it. You aren’t always going to remember it. You aren’t always going to be able to hold it together.
But the Lord will help you figure it out. He will open your eyes.
He will strengthen your grip. “He restoreth my soul,” means my soul was needy of restoration. The Holy Spirit was given to remind us, which means the Lord knew we would forget.
It is not perfection but trusting in Him in our imperfection that is our goal. He will embrace you through His word. He will embrace you through His people. He will embrace you with laughter. He will embrace you through all the resources of creation. Let us embrace His embrace.
