Pastor Dan Baty’s Monday Morning Boost

September 19, 2022 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

What does it mean that God is faithful? It means whatever He gives or withholds, He does so consistent with His surpassing wisdom, His beyond-imagination love for us, and His eternal purposes for us.

We want what we want, and we want God to give us what we want or help us to get what we want, ESPECIALLY when what we want seems reasonable, normal or necessary. God knows exactly what we want, why we want it and how badly we want it. His response, whether it is “yes,” “no,” or “wait” is always faithful.

God’s faithfulness is always on display in our lives. In the best of times and in the worst of times. His faithfulness does not take days off. His faithfulness doesn’t fall asleep. His faithfulness doesn’t run out of fuel. His faithfulness doesn’t forget. His faithfulness is never late. In the words of the prophet, “Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!“ (Habakkuk 2:2-3, Living Bible)
