In the same way many of you will pick up your ID badge for work today, make sure that you also put on your Believer’s ID badge. Not so others will know who you are but as a reminder to yourself of your true and eternal status. Here are some of your choices:
Righteousness of God… Holy… Beloved… Chosen of God… Ambassador… Citizen of Heaven… Friend of Christ… Heirs of God… New Creation… Member: God’s Household… Blameless… Redeemed… Anointed… Blessed.
No matter what anyone else says about you, remember your badge. No matter how your day turns out, you will never have to surrender any of your badges. They are not merit badges. They are not yours because of your efforts or achievements. They are yours because of your faith in Christ, given as a free gift to you but paid for by His blood
