We all want to make the best decisions. We want to choose the wisest path. We want to speak and act in love. However, walking by faith is not a math equation with one correct choice, nor is it about always knowing precisely what to do. Instead, the essence of a faith walk is engagement with our living Lord who knows all things and trusting in Him above our decision-making process. God has given us the gift of reason to figure things out, but He has given us the gift of faith to liberate us from relying on our reasoning as the ultimate safeguard. That is what He wants to be to us.
