“Pastor Dan Baty’s Monday Morning Boost”

June 15, 2020 By Dan Baty 1 Comment

Even though we are forgiven in Christ and always have God’s favor, bad choices can still lead to painful consequences. However, while we never want to intentionally set ourselves in a difficult place because of self-defeating decisions, let us not beat ourselves up or beat ourselves down.   For even when we are our own worst enemy, the Lord remains our forever-faithful Friend.   Where sin (or stubbornness or stupidity) abound, grace abounds all the more.   From the deepest, darkest places of our lives He will work miracles that will leave us slack-jawed and wide-eyed.   He will turn the curse into a blessing even if the consequence remains with us for the rest of our lives.   Many of us can attest to how He has excavated some of the greatest treasures of our lives from the rubble of our own destructive choices. Such is His affection for us.   He is and forever will be our living and wonderful Redeemer.

Pastor Dan why does our pass keep coming up in our face as a reminder that we made stupid mishaps when we didn’t know the full glory of Gods love and forgiveness?
