“Lord, You want me to trust in You, to adore You, and to rest in Your care. I want that, too. So, if You want that for me and I want it for myself, why is it such a struggle to consistently experience them?”
“You can have portions of them, but not the full measure of them until you leave this life and are unrestrained by the limitations of your earthly body and the toxicity of your earthly environment. But, in the meantime, be consoled that you have Me living inside of you right now. As we engage day by day, and as you rely on Me, you will see me supply all your needs according to My riches (Philippians 4:19). And our relationship – which is far more precious than anything I supply – will continue to grow in value to you.
