“Your lovingkindness is better than life…” (Psalm 63:3)
The Lord’s love is better than anything we are looking forward to and it makes everything we are looking forward to better.
That makes spending time with Him to absorb His love an opportunity not an obligation.
There is no time requirement or limit.
There is no word quota for our prayers.
There is no protocol for how our time with Him must be structured.
We have the freedom to come, to go, and to stay as long as we please.
“Your lovingkindness is better than life” is both a statement of fact and a standing invitation.
What we do with the invitation is our choice.
