The glory of who we are in Christ is a constant. The Lord is always mindful of you. The Lord is always with you. The Lord is always faithful to you. The Lord is always at work in You. You belong to Him now and forever. You are always beloved.
This is not just true when we are reading our Bibles or writing in our journals. It’s not just true when we are moved by a worship experience or a Sunday sermon. It not just true when we are participating in a Bible study or having a morning devotional. It is true all the time.
These spiritual activities don’t make it true; they make us aware it is true.
The Spirit uses those mediums to reveal and remind us of what is true at all times. Our participation doesn’t change how God feels about us; it changes how we feel about God. What changes, as our awareness grows, is our adoration of Him, the depth of our faith in Him and the incredibly rich blessings that come to us as a result.
