So, you want to know Him better. You want His influence to be greater in your life. You want Him to be more real in your day-to-day experience. Do not think your longings are in vain, or your prayers unheard. Instead, bear in mind that He wants your relationship with Him to be far more glorious than all you have in mind. Afterall, what you are asking for, He died to make possible for you long before you were even born. And the desire you have to see it realized in your life comes from Him.
So, do not be frustrated or discouraged. Instead, give thanks that “He who began that good work in you will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day Christ returns” (Philippians 1:6).
