40 years!!! As of today, April 1st, I have now been a shepherd of the Lord’s people for as long as the Israelites wandered in the wilderness. And there have been times I felt as though I was wandering with them. But I want your week to be boosted by my sincere testimony that God is not only faithful, but He is also unfathomably wise, compassionate and creative. There is no wilderness too dark, too hot, too dry, wet or long that is beyond His sustaining power. Be encouraged. Be hopeful. Carry on one step at a time. Don’t worry about tomorrow, just receive the grace He provides for today.
“Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, Your might to all who are to come” (Psalms 71:17).
