“Now” is the most important moment of the rest of your life. In fact, it is the only moment of the rest of your life. It is always the only place we can live. The only place we can act. The only place we can think. “Now” is the only place we can make decisions. The only place we can pray.
Regardless of our past choices, our “now” choices are the only thing that matter. They are all we have to work with.
So, it is wise to surrender “now” to the Lord. To lay our present situation, attitudes and disposition at His feet and to thank Him for what He is doing right now to nurture our trust in Him. To remember that in this “now” there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).
From God’s perspective, the lessons of the blessings and the challenges of your past can be summed up in one idea: trust Him for your “now,” whatever it is.
