“’You don’t know what you are asking,’ Jesus said” Mark 10:38 (NIV).
Lord, I know when I pray, my mouth is writing a check that my body can’t cash. But then again, I thank You for the realization that I need not count on my body or my wisdom. Instead, I can fully depend on You to bring about the actual results You know my heart desires and to provide the strength to handle the process necessary to see them realized. “I can do all things through Christ [living His life in me] who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
