I’m thinking about the ocean, how it effortlessly carries cruise ships, battleships, and countless marine life. Now, imagine that being God’s capacity, not only like the ocean but also like the vast expanse of space, stretching beyond comprehension, holding galaxies, stars, and worlds with perfect ease.
It doesn’t matter how small or large, how spiritual or unspiritual we perceive the issue to be, if it weighs on our hearts, it qualifies to be brought before Him.
“Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.” — Psalm 55:22
Like tossing a heavy trunk into the ocean, where the waves carry it far beyond our reach, we can cast our burdens upon the Lord, trusting in His infinite capacity and unfathomable love. Just as the universe stretches beyond measure, vast enough to cradle entire galaxies, so too is His ability to hold every care we release to Him and sustain us through it all.
