As believers, we have neither cause for boasting nor despair. We do not consider ourselves better than anyone else because we realize God is the one at work in us. He is the miracle maker. The Lord is the giver of all things and deserves all the glory. But nor do we despair about our life, we don’t give into hopelessness because God is the one at work in us. He is the miracle maker and is able to do what seems impossible for us.
Thus, living by faith involves not basing our value or potential on our personal inventory of attributes, but by fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, in whom we are God’s righteousness, from whom all blessings flow and for whom all things are possible.
