Pastor Dan Baty’s Monday Morning Boost

October 13, 2025 By Dan Baty Leave a Comment

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and My sheep know Me.”

The Lord knows you.

No, I mean really knows you! Not just your name or your needs, but your story. All the relationships and events that have brought you to this place in your life. He knows your aspirations. He knows your fears. He knows your humor. He knows your abilities. He knows your pain. He knows the quiet place where your thoughts gather, your emotions stir, and your words fail. He is fully informed on all the “why’s” behind your “whats.” Your backstory and your cover story. This comprehensive, exclusively divine knowledge, is the heart of a friendship that frees you to be fully seen and still fully loved.

It’s not archival knowledge; it’s an active database. He uses it to make our connection with Him more real, more transformative, and more beautiful than we can imagine. As life unfolds each day, nothing happens that He cannot use to make our relationship with Him more personal, more potent, and more precious. Not the meeting that didn’t go as planned. Not the disagreement at home that left the air heavy. Not the email or text that stirred up anxiety. Not the moment you felt underprepared, overlooked, or stretched too thin. He knows how all of it affected you.

So, approach this week not as a threat or a burden, but as a faith-deepening, grace-filled expedition with the One who is, and always will be, our fully informed, forever Friend and Helper.
