Remember: God isn’t transforming us to make us more lovable to Him; He is cleaning the windows of our spirit so we can clearly see how loved we already are.
He is clearing away the lies of the evil one about God’s character and His intentions. He is removing the grime of well‑practiced, destructive self‑talk. He is scraping off the dried paint splatters of shame.
Transformation is not primarily about behavior but belief. When belief shifts, behavior follows.
We are not being transformed to make us presentable to God, nor are we required to earn or maintain His love; that deal was settled forever at the cross of Christ. Because of that, His heart is for us to fully believe it, enjoy it, wear it, and share it with the world around us.
