The commercial for the newest Samsung phone arrested the attention of my 6-year-old grandson, and for the past couple days he has been suggesting that I upgrade. Just to pump the brakes on his insistence, I finally agreed to get it – but with the following condition: “Ok,” I said, “we’ll go to the store after school and you can buy it for me.” He was silent for a moment and then said, “Well, I don’t have enough money right now. I’ll have to lose some more teeth.” And that was it. I almost spit out my teeth laughing.
Never overlook the blessing of laughter that the Lord gives us to boost our mood and lighten our spirit. He is always diverse and creative in His care for us.
