I love it when our Lord opens my eyes and allows me to see Him in a new light. Each day, if I am attentive enough to Him, He enlarges my knowledge and understanding of Him. If for some stupid or silly reason, I get sidetracked by the distractions the evil one throws my way, He watches over me and steers me back to Him without fail. This particular message reinforces this awesome truth. I am so glad to be retired. Now, each day I can look forward to waking up and spending my whole day with Him. Every day, if I am attentive enough, our Lord gives me fresh new insights about my relationship with Him and opens up His deep well of wisdom and loving-kindness and pours it out to me and over me. I am in a marvelous place! He is many things to me. He is my Lord. He shows me He is my salvation by opening my eyes and allowing me to see Him and His body at Valley Brook in unforgettable and intimate ways. This message aptly titled The “Us Factor” reaffirms I am on the right track because I have been daily rejoicing in the goodness, joy, and love of our Lord for several weeks. It is reassuring to find out you are on course, still on the right track and that you did not miss the mark.

I am so glad He guided my wife and I to a church home where fellow believers are as passionate (and even more passionate) to know Him as me! I am no longer considered “strange” and out of place! Praise our God forever! This perception makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with Christ because my brothers and sisters are fellow companions and worshipers. I know I can never be separated from Him or my fellow believers. Even though I will continue to suffer loss of family members, trials, tribulations, and reap the consequences of my own poor decisions, I can say with a joyful heart and really mean it–Life Is Good!
