The View from My Place – “As If I Was There”

I expressed my thanks to the Lord for what He did for “us” when He was on earth, as if I was there among the crowds.

In a sense, this allowed me to witness His teachings, miracles, and compassion firsthand and to experience the transformative impact of His earthly presence.

I thanked Him for how He taught us, healed us, fed us, and stood up for us.

I thanked Him for His resolute journey towards Jerusalem for us, fully aware of what awaited Him, for enduring the suffering to the end, and for ensuring we knew He had risen from the dead before returning to the Father.

I thanked Him for doing all of that for me personally – even though I was yet to be born – because in His heart He did it for me as much as for anyone else.
