It was as if I were walking through a bustling town square, when suddenly, like a street performer commanding the crowd, this verse arrested my attention and stopped me in my tracks:
“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27, NIV).
Glorious riches. Unsearchable riches.
Riches that bring fullness to life.
Riches of gratitude.
Riches that speak to the truest places within me.
Riches that dispel fear, calm anxiety and inspire hope.
Riches that sparkle with love and inspire love.
They are secured from external “thieves” and untouched by economic conditions.
They are not volatile. Not risky. Not subject to market swings.
They flow from the inside out through my relationship with the Christ who dwells within me.
And with His blessing, I am free to count them as often as I please.
