“I keep asking… the glorious Father…”
Our heavenly Father is glorious, and He generously reveals His glory to us, but never excessively and always with purpose.
Sometimes He displays His glory through our physical senses, the things we see, or hear, or touch in the material world, like the beauty and power of Nature or music or poetry and other exceptional human abilities. Other times He reveals it within our inner being through the truths we understand or remember that minister to our spirits.
Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory. In Jesus, God’s power, wisdom, love, and truth are all on display. To know Him is to be personally acquainted with the glory of God, for He is its embodiment. He is the one-stop Source of and the entranceway to the fullness of God’s glory. All other exhibits draw their existence and magnificence from Him.
The purpose of all glorious things is to point us to Jesus, whom the glorious Father has anointed the King of Glory.
