The View from My Place – “Meanwhile…”

November 4, 2020 By Dan Baty 2 Comments

While “Life” is doing its thing all around us, taking us on wild rides over which we often have little to no control, a different story is happening within us.

Day after day, the Lord continues to bless us with understanding and knowledge of Himself.  He continues to reveal and disclose Himself as the way, the truth and the life and has graciously given us another opportunity to experience and express Him as such today.

He is inviting us to abide in Him and to delight in Him.

He is working in this very moment to make our relationship with Himself more precious to us and helping us to understand how precious we are to Him.

We are blessed when we set our attitude to thanksgiving and He will often convert our thanks into a heart of genuine and overflowing gratitude.

He is sharing His love for us through one another.

He has uniquely designed and crafted each of us and is helping us to value His work in and through each of us.

He is opening our eyes so that “morning by morning new mercies we see.”

He renews us day by day and refreshes familiar spiritual truths so that they are life giving and not tired and trite religious sayings.

He touches our hearts, causing joy to rise within us and creating a hunger for more of Him.

He has graciously called each of us into fellowship with Himself and persuades us, through the power of His being, that He is the best thing about today – regardless of the wildness of the ride.

    Loved this truth, Pastor.
“He has graciously called each of us into fellowship with Himself and persuades us, through the power of His being, that He is the best thing about today – regardless of the wildness of the ride.”

Jesus is the best yesterday, today, tomorrow, and for eternity! Yaay and Praise God!

Please continue to let God use you. You are a good Shepherd, who feeds and cares for his folk with choice meals and tender loving care. May God continue to richly bless and keep you and yours.

I have not forgotten to pray for your daughter, that God has Angels assigned to her care to minister to her and keep her safe. Trusting God to keep his promise – Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Praying for the time when she will connect again with family. Asking it all in Jesus’ matchless name and for his sake. Amen
